The Premier Fashion Conference for Digital Retail Innovation
January 2011 will premiere the first TechCouture conference in London as part of the London Fashion Week Spring/Summer Collections events. TechCouture is a one-day conference that provides a point of encounter for fashion labels, retailers, buyers, fashion visionaries and publishers with the digital entrepreneurs that are extending the industry to the online world. TechCouture aims to become a bi-annual international event to align itself with the dynamics of the fashion industry and offer the technology side of the fashion industry to all attendees to London Fashion Week.
The fashion industry, a sector that generates above $300 billion revenues annually, continues to grow from strength to strength in spite of economic crisis. It is also a sector that has embraced the Internet and translated its attractiveness to new business models that savvy digital entrepreneurs are taking to new dimensions. TechCouture is a firm believer that Fashion, whether traditional or digital, provides a seamless experience to consumers who navigate through both environments without confusion.
TechCouture is the unique environment where entrepreneurs, business owners and investors from both sides of its dominance, the off-line/physical and the online/digital will meet and network, make valuable contacts, learn new approaches and retail models, and establish a closer connection between them for bigger success in the future.
Whether it is couture, prĂȘt-a-porter or the world of discounted fashion, TechCouture is an all encompassing event that welcomes all fashion stakeholders and offers a stage and an exhibitor area for them to showcase their businesses and creations.
